About
I enjoy creating things
From Web sites to photographs, I’m fascinated by the process of making things that bring people happiness. I have a passion for simplicity, perfection, and things that tell a story.
I keep my Web and photography work separate and this site serves as the home for all of my Web work. It is my playground to experiment, create, and share. Here, you will find how I make things, things that inspire me, books that I recommend, and more.
Who am I?
In 1998 I completed my first Web site — a masterpiece that included under construction GIFs and a MIDI version of Smashing Pumpkin’s Tonight, Tonight. Ever since then, as you can imagine, I’ve been the go-to guy to provide a presence on the Web. I remember creating sites just to place high-res photos of Nirvana over and over until AOL was close to shutting off my home service. Fourteen years later, I’m still making Web sites. No more Nirvana or Smashing Pumpkins, but my sites definitely still retain the sweeping energy of 90s grunge rock.
