Selection of Work

University of Colorado Denver

The University of Colorado Denver uses a templated CMS to make creating pages easy for the school’s Web developers. The header and footer of each Web site are the same, while the content within is custom-created. The idea is to give each school a unique look and feel, while also making it known to the user that they are still within the University Web site. If a school chooses not to have a custom design, they are given the University default theme below. This is a selection of themes (among numerous others not listed here) that I hand-coded from Photoshop mockups.

Since 2004, I've focused on creating Web sites that are easy to use, functional, and yet beautiful. The sites that I develop are heavily inspired by my admiration for minimalism, typography, and grid layouts.

My name is Casey, and I love coffee, Sharpies, food-related holidays, the Oxford comma, and creating Web sites that people enjoy using.
